#46 Madness returns, namey steps down from Jasmine Tea in News
krtz
You cant judge just based on pugs and several cast, who knows they might have a top team manage to compete with the other contenders

Idk, I doubt they'll be able to compete closely with the other top teams but I'm not sure they'll get smashed, I reckon that playing at i58 might motivate them to work on their play, and if that wont then getting smashed at i58 will motivate them to improve for any i series in the future that they might attend.

mustardoverlordyou guys are cute

the top 5 or so teams at i58 are going to utterly smash any asiafortress team sorry breh

Have you actually watched the asiafortress scene and followed its players or are you saying that without the knowledge to back it up?

Very hyped for this team at i58. With so much talent on the roster I think it'll be interesting to see how they match up to EU/NA teams.

SetletNusemanYeah I'd agree with you completely then. Isn't it nice when two people on this thread agree on something.

SetletI was meant to say that because he maincalls/affects the team's decisions in such a big way, he is way better skilled than any other player in prem and thus has more impact, but that's not because of being demo itself. I should have said "Kaidus is a better player than any other demo in prem" instead.

Yeah I'd agree with you completely then. Isn't it nice when two people on this thread agree on something.

Setlet Demo's impact in game is pretty low

While I agree with this, saying that theres not much more you can do when you are talking about every demo except kaidus is just wrong. There is plenty room for improvement for most of the demos in prem, and its just a matter of applying their skill set in a different manner to how they are used to. Since the sticky nerf and the evolution of the meta to the current scout-heavy style, demomen should play a much more supportive heal efficient role to maximise their effect and enable their team. Take a look at how duwatna played with froyo, and compare it to how numlocked played in i49 epsi, there's a huge disparity in the how heal efficient they were within those teams, but they were both the best demos in the game at the time of their peaks. IMO kaidus is the only demo in a top team atm (probably termo as well but I haven't been paying much attention to the AU scene so I can't say that with confidence) that has the mechanics and decision making to play a more heal heavy leading demo and have it work within the dynamic of his players. I think it is fair to say iikq hasn't been a big impact player for PlanEx so far, but he definitely has the skill set to be able to do so, and that is the case for pretty much every demo in prem, like I said, its a matter of how they apply their skill set within the dynamic of their team.

sheepy_dogs_hand Even if you look at his stats in officials he isn't that far behind other demomen in prem.

Also I dont think stats indicate how impactful demos are nearly as much as they used to. Take ryb for example; he never had great stats but ask almost anyone that played against him regularly, they will tell you that he is hard to play against. There's a reason he is one of the greatest demos to play the game.

#15 Looking for Compact Mechanical Keyboard under $200 in Hardware

I have the CM Storm Quickfire TK with reds and I couldn't be happier with it. I wanted a smaller keyboard but I also wanted the numpad, and I'm pretty satisfied with the compromise (because its barely a compromise).

#27 Players to watch for in TF2 General Discussion

Moursi has got to a low prem level in only 3 full seasons of play, if he can keep it up and get past some of his shortcomings I'm sure he could be a top scout very soon, and hpqoeu has crazy talent, when he has the motivation his game impact is unreal.

I'll always remember this krit sticky, was such a huge one to hit, especially when mixup were expecting the kritz and holding harb near the spawn door intentionally.
