Well you know, Overwatch, Dota 2, CSGO, Valorant, PUBG, Apex Legends and literally any other esports with developer backing is where the players and viewers moved.

The numbers for TF2 have been getting back up with everyone being stuck inside thanks to covid (if they're not out rioting) , but that still doesn't mean valve cares for the competitive community, with the last major update to the game dating October 2017!

I don't know which seasons this was, but those numbers have only been hit for ESEA and ETF2L playoff games.

To add something actually constructive:
it is not like the TF2 Tournament organizers at Insomnia or Copenhagen Games haven't been in contact with teams well before the event to get Americans, Australians and Asians to fly over, but if there is no saving up from players, sponsors backing teams or timely organized fundraisers paired with stellar perks => no one is going 2k out of pocket to play some jetlagged TF2 with a team that only formed just for the event, because it seems impossible to get stable teams to set up merch and fly in to bootcamp and try to crush the international competition.

Make sure you're in -insecure and double check with plugin_print which plugins are loaded.

The reason your BG currently doesn't show is because you've set it to wide & tall 0. Fix this first.

The path as it currently is with ../vgui/replay is correct.

You should have at least the following:

In theory the above should work.

I just extracted the original .vmt and uploaded it, but that should indeed be modified to reflect it's new path, good catch.

Did you also extract the .vmt with the VTF in the new folder when you moved it?

Move the file to materials/vgui/replay/thumbnails and make a VMT for it (copy the original) and point your hudplayerhealth image to the changed path.

The image should now work with sv_pure 2 without preloading.
