Valve suck so much dick
Can you explain why this is a dick move? (Not trolling, I just genuinely don't know)
VR won't see wide appeal until/if game devs can fix the whole "gives most people motion sickness very quickly" part about playing any VR game.
So did anyone else notice the feature-length SFM some dude made about him or is it just me?

I have so many questions
I'm currently working on the first book Issac Asimov "Cycle of Foundation" series (one of his most famous), and enjoying it so far.
It seems to generally be about important dudes pulling off 200iq political maneuvers in a far future sci-fi context, so I'm having a good time
Alright, after looking back at other modern edits, I have to say:
I'm so fucking wrong about 60p being the modern standard for edits, it definitely isn't. Sorry about that.
There is, however, a trend of people making their 24 and 30p edits feel buttery smooth, which I think is what I was reacting to when saying (small) parts of this video feel a bit choppy to me (specifically, choppy in a way that disrupts my experience rather than enhancing it).
I went out on a limb and assumed the choppiness was due to a framerate choice that not everyone was on board with (as it was a 4-way collab), but clearly I was wrong about that. I also can't rule out my own cognitive bias in perceiving those parts as choppy. Either way, I'm nitpicking.
To be clear:
-I still think this video is really great (I hate the music choice personally but as DanceNumber said that doesn't take away from the achievement here)
-I'm not some 60p elitist (although I think it's equally elitist to discard it entirely as a choice)
Seinfeld editing community doesn't like the way 60fps edits look (and i agree) because they don't look cinematic
I think I'm just confused by this video because ever since Googler pioneered this kinetic, VFX-heavy style of TF2 editing, people have generally used 60p if they're working in this style, since the added frames help sell the punch of the effects.
I don't mind 24p fragmovies but some of the editors in this video don't work with it very well, IMO. It feels like it was edited for 60p and then somebody copied it over at 24p, as there's parts of this video that really suffer from the combination of fast moving camera/effects and a lack of motion blur to accompany those.
Maybe it's just the upload but is there a reason it's not in 60p? Is it supposed to be? Makes the video a bit choppy, especially with limited motion blur
Very technically impressive edit -- wish I could enjoy it as a person but I can't stand the music. It happens.
This Astralis vs NRG train game tho Pog
Update: The map just ended, definitely the best map of the major so far, give it a watch

both demo plays on Gully mid here are absolutely nutty, feels like I'm watching a speedrun when I see them do 600 damage in 5 seconds
Why is Vitality looking so weak smh
NOVA is probably singlehandedly responsible for a lot of what I know about science today
Buff the fighting scout and then kill the enemy scout yourself, completely ignoring your respawner
