smakersGood read. Well written, but it does have one error that I've been seeing more and more these days. Sacrificing is not 'sacking' as the latter is a totally different verb. A minor nitpick, I know, but if it's a published article on another site, it may be worth correcting. =P

That makes sense but I always thought the phrase "sack the roamed in" came more from the notion of a football sack than a sacrifice play. Especially since the "pocket" terminology comes from football as well. And "sack the point" in the sense that you sack/destroy a city.

DanceNumberIf everything is unbanned in MM i'm running jarate + sleeper. Remember how effective piss gun was on viaduct?

It was so good because teams could focus fire. I'm doubting there's going to be a modicum of cohesion in MM and that's going to make the sleeper a lot less useful.

dMenaceSam_HoustondMenaceI've sat next to Remedy while watching him play, sponsored his team and even gave him a hug at GXL. The other person at the LAN that has been verified a cheater was making a complete fool of himself every breath and honestly that's the attitude that can only verify suspicion. When his invite team I paid for died due to roster mixups, he was the first person I met that offered to pay me back as much as he could because he felt sorry. I refuse to believe he is at fault, nobody as considerate as Remedy could be actually cheating after all this time.

One of the nicest players I've ever met in TF2, a guy who mentored and sponsored my team for multiple seasons, turned out to have blatant walls, radar, and probably aimbot too. I fully believe he was a nice person. I have no desire to play with him in TF2 ever again and will report him if I ever see him on an alt, but I strongly believe he still is a good/nice person who did a really really shitty thing in a videogame. People hack for reasons other than just being an asshole, and I don't think being a nice person is evidence someone is a legit player. I don't know anything about remedy and I'm not commenting directly on his VAC, I just don't think the "he's nice so he's not hacking" line is solid.
So what you're saying is you don't know either.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Just reminding people that boomeh was allegedly a really nice guy too but he was still hacking. Not evidence for, not evidence against.

Valve is increasing the prize pool to 1 million dollars. Really glad to see Valve supporting CSGO more.

In other news though, Mongolz weren't able to get visas for the qualifiers, so they can't go :(
This is huge for both CSGO and esports.

It does suck for Mongolz/YouPorn and to a lesser degree Liquid

Mongolz not being able to make it, YP having to use 2 CSGL players because of visa issues, and Liquid not being able to use Koosta and now not moE either.

On a side note, I wonder who Liquid will use. They essentially cant use any pro player who would want to play in the minor circuit, which eliminates a ton of options. Watch Summit1G actually become their best option. At this point I honestly feel they'll have to try and get adren back.

Liquid said they're using adreN. Fucking awkward as hell.

I don't actually think it's a bad thing (outside of TSU getting shafted), roster changes are needed for underperforming teams, looking forward to seeing Freestate on scout again, but I do think the juxtaposition is funny.

DreamboatLiquid has a stand in for adren by the sounds of it, while the standin might be an upgrade, the chemistry probably won't be there, so I don't see them doing that well unfortunately.

They're using M0e as a standin for Koosta (who replaced adreN).
