HY as a simple faded high and tight isn't ever going to look bad, but undercuts are definitely approaching pure tryhard tier. I think the simpler ones look great but the more fashion-y ones really are just starting to be too popular imo.

i like jordaan mason's undercut, but like it definitely feels more 2014 than 2016. the classic HY is p timeless tho keep it up if it looks good on u but beware being associated with fucclords

yeah the over-the-top look is just too much for me, a simple natural looking haircut is much more appealing and attractive in my opinion

yeah i think more low maintenance or natural hairstyles tend to look better, especially in person. Half of his posts on tumblr now are making fun of how silly his hair looks. I'm just trying to grow mine out so it'll pull back naturally without turning into a mullet, but i was considering the HY before I realized i'd look dorky

ood luck on growing it out, look up some ways to clean your scalp if you have an oily one. It's pretty good to use some natural oils (coconut oil for example) to clean up your scalp every once in a while.

ive been using a cleansing conditioner. RN i'm looking for something to keep it pulled back without being shiny and thick like a pomade. My stylist used a clay but it was like $30 a jar :(.

As far as skin care I mostly just drink a gallon of water every day and focus on scrubbing the oil off every night with water. Does it look that bad?
