Tried one lobby on stadium, it seemed fine. I like that it's individual ready-up instead of a team-based one, makes it easier to avoid accidents where you start the game but a couple people are still afk. The look is pretty good too. Of course overall it can't be a huge departure of tf2center because that site in itself is good, PR and the admins were the problem. Although I've personally never had any major issue with said admins, I have friends who did and sympathize with them, so it's nice to have an alternative.

Hopefully open source means not only that it's easier to keep that PR aspect in check, but it's also easier for new people to join the project and add functions and/or fix bugs, because in theory anyone can jump in at any time. Good luck guys.

Honestly TF2Pickup has turned to shit. Stadium is much better.

If both sites do push for more updates and changes to make their site better and better, then hopefully both will stay around. A big negative of TF2Center are their mods and I'm pretty sure that TF2Stadium will take over and replace TF2Center will be more obsolete if this isn't changed.

I can really understand the underlying reasoning for not wanting to see your chat filled up with people spamming another site, but there are other, more effective ways on achieving this, becuase if you ever played on a community server, if you have some admin, alienating part of your community, you might end up with even more counter productive hassle and petty drama rising up at any opportunity.

Did that cause login problems on TF2Center?

Yes, it doesnt let you login if you have TF2Pickup in your name, i've tried it couple of times and people that are sponsored by us and had it in their name also couldn't log in

It doesn't cause any real problems other then TF2c not wanting any other site to be advertised at all. So they block logins if you have a org they don't like in your name.
