#3938 PC Build Thread in Hardware
SetsulNow, just to make sure:
You're not on Windows Vista or 7 and you have actually tested the RAM?

I'm on Windows 10, my only indicator that the RAM module is faulty is by placing it in a RAM slot where another RAM module (exactly same model) was placed before and was working correctly.

I don't mind replacing my mobo or CPU, I just don't want to upgrade one (or both) component and have the same issues again.

#3936 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Hello, for some reason, 2 out of the 4 RAM slots in my previous mobo died, so I got a new one (same model - B450M-A II).

However, it shortly happened again to this mobo too, and I have been trying to find out what component did this. One or two of the RAM modules I tried inserting are faulty, so I think (...and hope) that the RAM slots were destroyed by faulty RAMs inserted into them. (There is an 80% chance that I get PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA BSoD on boot so I keep my PC on sleep instead of shutting down...)

Mostly, I'm wondering if it is at all possible that it's a problem with my PSU or CPU, or the RAM slots got destroyed by the faulty RAM modules.

Found a lot of conflicting opinions online.
I'm posting my specs below.

Mobo: ASUSTeK PRIME B450M-A II
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
PSU: Be Quiet System Power 9 500W

#26 Team Comtress 2 in Projects
mastercomsIncreased default FOV to 90, and max FOV to 120mastercoms...It's a version of Team Fortress 2, based on the recent leak which aims to fix many bugs, performance issues, etc.

Default FOV to 90 is great, but allowing anything above that is game changing and I think misses the initial point of this project.

Besides that keep going, these are all incredible!

#26 Question for musicians and/or physicists in Off Topic
the301stspartanbiskuutambobiskuuwhy does it matter, do you not tune your guitar every time you grab it to play?it matters because the wood can eventually crack or warp irreparably if the temp/humidity is too high.that doesn't make any sense, that would be the case only if the string got more tense to the point of damaging/curving the neck
if we are talking humidity then yes it affects the instrument, but the strings being detuned has nothing to do with damage

if you are concerned about warm environments damaging your guitar you shouldn't worry, i would however make sure that the instrument has a fresh varnish which you can get from a luthier very cheap (had ones for $30-40)
the strings being detuned is, rather obviously, an indicator for the air having some potentially harmful effect on the guitar.

If you play guitar you would know that strings can get detuned even within an hour and sometimes even less. I've had strings get detuned as I'm playing a live. Not much, just around a semitone, but its still noticeable by ear.
Guitar strings get detuned constantly thats why most good guitarists will tune every time they grab their guitar.

#39 Stalin, the greatest Russian leader of all time? in Off Topic
BarryChuckleJust to add: he wasn't a great war leader. His ability to delegate and willingness to listen to advice from his Generals was what ultimately won in the Eastern Front.

Infact, most of the blame for the disasterous start to the war for the USSR can be laid at Stalin's feet: He purged Red Army officers in the '30s, he insisted on deploying huge armies right on the border (which were then encircled and effectively wiped out in the first few weeks of war), he refused to believe intel that a German attack was imminent and refused to allow his generals to mobilise for war, and he suffered a total breakdown and sat in his Dacha in a state of complete listless depression afdter the Germans attacked, leaving the country completely leaderless for several days until he pulled himself together.

didn't purge enough tbh

The demo search on ETF2L is a bit buggy and tends to show no results sometimes.
Your best bet is looking at each top 3-4 team's demos here.

For a second I thought they referred to the case system as the report system and that they found a way to quickly ban hackers from competitive.
