I have q to always switch between primary and secondary even if I pull my melee out, unlike the default. I use 3 for melee

thanks for all the help i will have to sift through them and find a one that i feel most comfortable with. thanks. There are many soldier oriented switching i can see, any other class switching can help.

bind Q "slot1"
bind E "slot2"
bind F "slot3"
bind TAB "voicemenu 0 0"
bind SHIFT "+score"
bind H "hud_reloadscheme"
bind B "+jump" (I use a jump script, but I have a jump only key in case I ever need it)

Besides nonsensical binds, those are all that I have custom bound.

i just scroll through them with mouse wheel and q for previous weapon, seems best to me, doing strange binds on the keyboard would mean taking my fingers off of a movement key, so in a gun-fight you cant strafe and whatnot.

made a script that shows a makeshift menu that lets me choose what weapon script to use based on my loadout. similar one for soldier (gunboats/shotgun) and pyro (extinguisher/reserve shooter)

the other way to achieve this effect is to have two configs and exec them manually when you switch loadouts. aint nobody got time for that.
