Just reinstalled and changed to comanglia's config and now my game looks like this:

I've never seen everything being as pixelated as this, especially how even the player models are distorted. Hud is fine. Does anyone know how I should fix this?

mat_viewportscale 1 i think downscales your resolution creating this blurriness. You'll have to edit the config itself so it doesn't look distorted.

I really should take the potato config down, there's alot of people who use it when they probably shouldn't

Yeah, I personally don't think some extra fps is worth making your game look like you're playing without glasses

The potato config without viewport is awesome though - gives me an extra ~20 average fps on my ancient crappy laptop. Personally I'd just comment that out and explain what it does. Game is totally playable with just that one setting changed.

20 more fps than my mid-quality PC one?

i think a lot of people assume that the potato config gives the highest fps rather than just being the most compatible with potatoes
