Problem with Lawena VDM files

The commands to skip ticks / start recording / etc inside the VDM files are not being executed when I start a demo. It did work some time ago with a single VDM file, now I've tried making a list of those but nothing is happening. What could cause this?

Make sure you've deleted VDMs you no longer need (There's a button to do this automatically in Lawena). If you're working with multiple VDMs, always play the one at the top of the 'list'.

i would suggest looking into Source Recording Tool instead of lawena. more functionality imo and its easier to use.
