MAGICcould be unrelated, as it's more of a config fix, but I found that
mod_load_anims_async 0
mod_load_mesh_async 0
mod_load_vcollide_async 0
stopped my game crashes on map change after the 64 bit update
I'll look into it later today. Don't know if I have these commands in my ancient comanglia config.
