So I've noticed this happening on my GameServer that I bought and every once and awhile I have to restart the server because when you do anything as simple as moving it looks like... I dunno, your tapping the W key and you see a stutter. Resetting the server fixes the problem.

But now its happening on my server I am running locally and I am wanting to resolve this issue.

If you want, you can see for yourself what I mean and connect to 66.55.154.28:27015 and go soldier or something and do a rocket jump.

Thanks!

Updating this. I did a test and just did a map change, to Badwater and then back to the MGE map I run full time and it fixed the issue.

Now, is there a way to keep the map going 24/7 or do you guys suggest making it change maps to fix this?

After a while servers tend to get glitchy. That's why it's recommended that servers have a map change to reset the map every hour or so. You can do that by just having the MGE map in the mapcycle and setting mp_timelimit.

Alright, I'll do that. Is there by chance anyone documenting how long this glitchy ness takes to set in? I'd like to set the map time as long as possible to prevent people from being in the middle of a duel.

I usually recommend doing 30 minute map changes or before/after games.

I'll look into making a plugin that extends the timelimit automatically if there are still duels going on. Shouldn't be too difficult to do.

Also if this helps; the stutter you described is also called 'rubberbanding' iirc
