I know many people are asking me but the issue is I'm not doing the post-processing and dunno when it will be finished (I have asked). There are also some LAN videos/interviews that I hopefully can get out, but I am waiting on permission.

Can't wait for RGB 6 lan pics, hopefully they'll be out right after the Lan!
guys i need to update my twitter profile picture pls drop the photos
I have asked in the staff discord twice (I'm not involved with media), so hopefully, the ball gets rolling. I'm a part of the staff and I don't even know what's going on with them. The full folder of photos from the weekend exists, it's in our discord.
EDIT: Staff has spoken, and photos are mostly done. They will be released only when RESUP closes out previous obligations (donor weapon signings, etc).

I kind of believe that this has to be the case, in witness’ post he says that they’re waiting for previous obligations to go out first but why??? It wouldn’t make a difference if others things were done beforehand so why stall for no reason especially if those things aren’t related? Also its been 5 months, dealing with photos at max should take 1-2 months even if ur busy. So it’s either lost or at this point laziness.

Hate to say it but in terms of LAN planning, as far as I've heard and seen, photos are kind of an afterthought--the event can't be run without casters, producers/cameramen, tournament organizers, etc. and there's not usually much money to go around anyways, so if something has to be neglected it's usually the photo/video stuff. Not to say this was necessarily what happened here, but it doesn't surprise me given the i69 photos took over a year as well (which afaik was mainly due to people being overburdened with regular work, and the fact that they were all on a single hard drive that nobody else had access to--I would've happily volunteered to help edit them since I shot a good chunk of them)
I've shot a good number of lans officially and unofficially and haven't gotten paid for anything (which I'm fine with, was just volunteering to give back and gain some experience, but it's hard to justify compared with regular photo gigs which are typically $50/hr at least), i know nyxia and i both considered doing this one and past resup lans but iirc there wasn't a huge amount of money available for compensation, and it's usually just more fun to play instead.
Since the community clearly cares a lot about this photo stuff, maybe we could petition for more resources to be allocated towards it for the next big tournament (or raise money if need be, like the prize pool donations), or at the very least have a pay structure that incentivizes actually delivering the photos promptly. Maybe it's worth actually paying for a dedicated editor or giving multiple people access to the files, or figuring out how things were handled at previous lans (e.g., Rewind 1 with uberchain/jas/moof iirc)

I'm not affiliated with RESUP anymore (I stepped down last week). Still, I can confirm that one person is working on sorting and editing the photos before they become available to the public. There is a Google Drive folder that exists with the photos. I've seen it and if some of you have a better memory from my previous post, I even said I'd make an imgur album about it before being politely asked by the admin team to not do that. They insisted that the photos were being worked on and would be uploaded soon after I made that post and I edited it to comply.
Bear pretty much hits the nail on the head, very few resources were allocated to getting the photos prepared and uploaded.
I mentioned in my previous post before anything was done with photos, leadership was adamant that REUSP fulfill donor obligations first. I'll give an abridged version of events that followed this decision:
The process of making sure these dues were met was pretty long due to the gap between LAN ending and staff reaching out, but after 2-3 weeks of either reaching out to donors who may have forgotten and figuring out who had working SteamTradeURL links, RESUP moved on with photos and other dues. Soon after this (and fairly recently), some other events popped up that pushed the release back of photos further.
I hope for future events, RESUP makes more considerations for quality assurance after LAN (photos, donor rewards).
tldr photos are being worked on with limited resourced but are slowly getting completed gg
