its late at night and i just want to read some depraved shit. ill share one to start.
recently exposed cheater, cukei, did some seriously depraved shit back when i played with them in 2017/2018. my favorite story is when they broke up with a recently banned player, then proceeded to jump on an alt. attempt to convince all their friends that they killed themself, and then grind mge for 3 months on said alt while talking to the people they were friends with on the alt and asking questions about their main account who was supposedly dead.
I have talked out two people who play on this scene to not kill themselves.
I was also on the gravity bong when one of our members comitted suicide on the server with out telling us anything.
One guy that I was working with who played tf2 had a band and the day I finished his shirt design and sent to him, he paid me, and went into his basement to watch tv with his dog, what he didn’t know that was his house was catching on fire without him knowing it. I was the last person to talk to him. I am also one of the people that was talking to miggy right before he died.

Who was that dude that was threatening to kill himself if he didn’t get to play invite way back when on the esea forums?
idk no comment on any names dropped so far but this thread isnt necessary maybe Lol
Nah it’s a reminder so these kids on here can conduct themselves without messing with people. They need to understand what kind of damage they can do.
I'll tell you a depressing story, dwindling RGL team numbers.
the most depressing story is this game has somehow existed for almost 2 decades with a really incredible competitive scene but somehow hasn't been able to grow or reach further out. I remember being in middle/highschool thinking this shit was about to blow and still after all this time its a cesspool of toxic weirdos (not to say there aren't great people around here but the stinkers are really fucking stinky)
My gpu died :( That was the final nail in the coffin. Even when I was playing, during pugs/scrims my internet would drop or I would have to do something for someone irl. So sad.

I’ll talk to my old boss at batteries plus and see if he still has his old gpu, you can use it if you pay for the shipping costs.

Back in UGC Highlander, there was a furry on some steel team who faked having cancer the entire season so people would give him and his team easy wins.

Be the change you want to see in the world. The TF2CC newbie cup is getting a fair amount of attention from the recent Steam community post https://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=213746. To all the experienced players, this is your chance to coach and mentor the future of the competitive scene.
Or you can sit around complaining that the scene is dying, up to you.

The problem is never getting players to try the problems is later down the line they will play later divs with degenerate weirdo losers that ruin the seasons and makes them never wanna come back.
