froyotech benched from playing as a team in RGL

"All [Froyotech] players will be allowed to play in RGL, but no more than one of them can be roster/play on the same team."
Seems pretty extreme to not only break up the team, but also restrict *any* of froyo from playing together. I understand why sigafoo would do this, but it gimps your credibility as a competitive league when you have rules in place artificially lowering the highest level of skilled gameplay.

ESEA S28 GF: froyotech vs. Ascent

directstar1for those who didnt watch, ascent used the pause bug to build uber. So basically nursey had full uber at mid and used it to win mid.
from what I saw ascent had a player bug out and switch to froyotech's side and the pause was for that, rather than intentionally exploiting. but they did use the uber that they built using the bug so still scummy

YrrWhen (to outsiders) your scene is defined by racism and toxicity, the only people you're gonna be able to convince to join it are people who share those attitudes, people who tolerate them, or people who somehow avoided learning of the reputation.
If the scene starts making permanent changes like these, toward trying to stamp out those attitudes, it will become much easier to convince new players to get involved.
Absolutely. Being stuck in a state of stagnation and excusing awful behavior out of fear of killing the game is self defeating. New people joining and growth is the only way to improve the scene, and people are far less likely to join when high level players commonly throw around racist, sexist, transphobic, and homophobic language.
But regardless of that, there's a basic human decency argument against allowing this kind of behavior to go on unchecked.

That's a pretty subjective point though. 20 career med mains can feel that way without it invalidating the opinions of any other meds. Fun is harder to rule on objectively than balance. I agree that the crossbow is unbalanced, but I also agree that it makes medic more fun.
