Soldier Tips:
Don't always go for airshots. A lot of the time a solid shotgun shot is enough to get the kill, and is easier to hit since the target is stuck in the air and can't really dodge.
Aiming for solid surfaces instead of trying for direct hits is a more consistent way to do damage, especially over longer distances.
Scouts will dodge differently depending on whether you have your rocket launcher or shotgun out. Saving ammo in each can be useful, since you can quickly switch weapons and catch a scout off guard for an easier kill.

I had issues with roommates for a while because the router settings didn't enable enough devices, so when people with iphones and laptops and xboxes all connected to the internet, people would start getting disconnects / lagging really bad (PS I also had the same router as you).
Hey could you ask the editor to not add the extra loud "impact" sounds when people die? I thought it was really distracting. (Rest of the editing was good though)
It's kind of hard to theorycraft tf2 due to the DM element. Theoretically one guy could ace a whole team if he was good enough.
The kinds of things where theorycrafting works best are in games where there is an underlying mechanic that can be uncovered, mathematically reasoned/modeled, and exploited. Games that come to mind are WoW, DotA, SC2, etc., since these all have a strong numerical aspect (stats, resource allocation). TF2 is more of a timing, spatial positioning, coordination and deathmatching game, so you can't really quantify builds that "work better" since every strategy works with varying success against different teams with different strengths (or even against the same team, with the difference of one guy hitting his shots or making one good play).
I don't think that the HUD helps you make any game decisions any better than you could already, but just makes the important things more obvious so that you can make those decisions faster (which can be compensated for with experience).
