"they" "the Europeans", stop generalising please, it's equally ignorant. It was one drunk person harassing a player. Don't think it altered the outcome of the game though, considering it happened pretty early in the game and I can't imagine nothing was done about it. But considering I wasn't there, I'm not certain. It's an ASSUMPTION, much like everything that has been posted here.
About the tf2tv2 stream: I think it was quite clear that you shouldn't take anything serious that was being said there. Clearly it was just 2 drunk guys having fun, dicking around and mostly trying to entertain some people. Try and put it in perspective. There was a reason why there were 2 casts at that time.

Don't want to rain on your parade, America, but fair is fair: you got outplayed last night. You were basically out of the game the entire time, but your goalie kept you in it until the end. Let's not pretend you guys preformed amazing last night, you got outclassed, simple as. Nevertheless I have to admit your world cup run was really impressive, especially considering the team you have "on paper". I hope last nights game inspired a lot of Americans to give football a shot and the thought of the USA focusing more on football is a pretty scary one in my opinion.
