The entire point of PSATs are to get you used to the level of difficulty in SATs and scholarships. The 9th grade PSAT doesn't have either. The PSAT has Algebra 1 math instead of Algebra 2 and easier English so you don't get any difficulty preparation and you can't get an scholarships. There are some societies that honor the people who score in the top 1%.
Beyond that, there's nothing to it other than not having to take 5 of my 6 classes today.
I think the 9th grade PSAT is a meme in and of itself.
