why does everyone bring up how everyone hates me in everything? i could literally ask for a hud and people will say something about how annoying i am.
lol I love reading these ideas. By the way, this is said over and over about every single game on other games' forums too. There are always going to be people who are just annoying and bitchy to play with, just like there are always going to be genuinely nice people that want to help newer players. You can say some games have slightly more or less critical players than others, but the disparity isn't that much (and it's mostly dependent on the size of the game). You can't be serious by practically suggesting that any other game isn't like that--there are critical/annoying people to new players?
when i first started playing tf2 pugs:
there were people who were annoying in the sense you're describing, but there were so few that I didn't care, and it turned out that most of those same players are still in esea-open (if they didn't quit). the only way you'd find it critical is if you don't like criticism.
when i first started playing esea pugs / cevo pugs / mm in csgo:
pretty similar experience in all of them in the sense that there were always going to be annoying people with huge egos that complain their teammates don't know what they're doing. there were quite a few more of these annoying players than in my tf2's experience.
when i first started ow mm:

I can't really justify whether or not this is true because I have no personal experience, but I heard people in LoL and dota, for example, have a fair share of critical/annoying players and that it can get pretty annoying.
Also, almost every person (from my experience) that complains about people being too critical to new players are either trolls or they have huge egos and can't take critism, so when somebody says, for example, "you should've popped uber there" they get incredibly offended and explain why it wasn't their fault they didn't press m2. If they truly are just overly critical (actually toxic), though, there's really never a reason to take them seriously by getting upset.
edit: it looks like you're the troll, as saam described that you have trolled in a pug and you're now offended.
tldr: every game has toxic players, and it almost seems like, interestingly, the games that have a bigger competitive community, have a larger percentage of annoying players.
