Carolina honestly scares me to play against. Only demo I've played against in open that consistently puts up stats that looks like the nerf never happend.

His post is lies, he is a monster. Any decent mid open team should pick him up.
Tery_tojoSo if we beat those 2 teams, but those 2 teams have more rounds than us, they go to playoffs? I apologize for my 5th grade reading level.
The reason I'm questioning it so much is because it would suck to not go to playoffs because of a team we beat based off of rounds.
Literally doesn't matter in the head-to-head matchup because there will be too many teams in that record range. If you were the only 2 teams with that record it'd be a different story, or if both teams were fighting for the same seed (basically the last playoff seed). In S12 Open Wutang Financial and Sunday Funday had the same record and same rounds for, but they didn't have a regular season matchup so they played a tie-in game. So if you beat Mumble Robots AND both your teams ended up competing for the same seed then you would win over them due to the head-to-head matchup.
so the dream isnt dead ty

You guys would need a lot of help in addition to supposedly sweeping your Granary games 10-0. With a 10-6 record and only 45 RF (in that scenario) a lot of teams are going to be ahead of you in both record and rounds. That's if you can win against Mumble Robots and Morin Than. If records are the same then RF is the deciding factor.
And I didn't write the article, SpaceCadet wrote it. I merely published it on TFTV with my article-posting privileges.

So if we (Heinz Automato) beat Mumble Robots and Morin Meets the Eye,but they win in rounds (fuck ffw's), then who goes to playoffs?
patrol is a gamer for sure
it would be cool to have another system to play decent pugs in besides esea and steam groups. Maybe we should set a date/time for a revival? If it goes well, people start going again.
Editing this post since his bump. His post lies not low open. Can easily hang with the playoff gamers as pocket and probably excel
Really good! Side note will a league ever come out for bball? I want to play some ugc plat bball.

This is an old selfie of me with some fat white kid.
when/why did you lose passion to play tf2 (or just video games) at a high level.
Their scouts are good at clicking. Jinta hits his shots. Everyone on this team that I've talked to seemed nice and chill. Also they got rid of discario so they are actually good now (fuck that guy).
Side question, how important is lerp for hitscan? When I play roamer and off class to sniper, I still have 15.2 lerp. Would changing it to 33 (or whatever standard hitscan interp is) make a big difference in registration? Also, do I need to join spec to change it or can it be in my config.
hits shots like a mad man
My team. Well after the mid season crisis of cutting our med and 2 other players leaving, our team has vastly improved. Monkeysuit has seen the potential so he has decided to play scout, and we are looking pretty good. We have beaten 6 out of the 8 teams we've scrimmed that are currently top 16 in power rankings. We beat syops twice, but we rang delpo on pocket and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were having a bad day (dflame had some shitty stats). Other high open teams that want to scrim add me here to schedule.
And to clear any misconceptions
This is not what I wanted nor planned on happening. I wanted to play my first season of open with some friends, then some fucking dumb shit happened, and now my team is stacked, and I'm surrounded by players better than me. I didn't cut anyone that I didn't think needed to be, people just left. I probably would still have cereal and evening on my team if they didn't leave.
On to the questions.
How's the difficulty of schedules and the new matchups thus far?
Pretty easy. Since our team changed on a 3-5 note, we are playing teams around 3-5 level, although with this roster I think we are more of a 6-2 type of team.
If your team died (I know a couple have), what happened (please keep it civil)?
Well it didn't die but it got pretty close. I cut out med due to his attitude and 2 other players left because of me cutting him/our performance/other factors.
Have you guys been improving a ton since you've started playing in the season?
I can't speak for us as a team because roster changes, but I think me currently would shit on me 2 months ago by a large margin.
What has stopped you from improving, if something is?
At the moment alosec is having issues with connecting to NFO servers (no idea, he was talking to tragic for hours trying to fix it) so we've had to ring people a lot. I think we are still getting better but it still is a hindrance.
Has anything on ESEA caused trouble while playing?
not really, I guess the occasional server lag but that's mostly gone now.
How do you feel about playing in ESEA?
It's miles more fun than UGC. I've played 1 season in UGC and I can't say I miss it. Everyone seems to give a shit and people actually scrim. Also it's a lot harder to get fucked over in scheduling.
What have you noticed about your team that has made it very fun?
Everyone is super chill. No one gets mad at one another and we all are trying to fix our flaws.
Same question, but what has made you guys improve?
Scrimming for 5 nights a week. We have had to have a ringer for a lot of it, but me personally, I feel I improved a shit ton just DM wise. And I'm finally starting to not just die for no reason.
Sorry for wall of text :-\
quick edit: alias is tojo on esea. Trying to fully re-alias :-\
