Super slow browsing speed in Chrome

I've been having a Chrome problem for about 2 days as well but I can't tell if it's exactly what you're experiencing.
Basically I try to load Facebook, it shows the home page in a semi loading state showing a few page elements, then it just gets stuck there. I've never had the patience to sit and see how long it would take to finish.

Question About Incoming Data and Choke

I had a similar problem long ago and tried about 400 things to fix it. Eventually it stopped, but I could never tell how or why it stopped. I'll suggest two things to you:
1) Launch TF2 with the -autoconfig launch option. Play TF2 for awhile with default settings etc. This way you can determine if it's an issue with your config or not.
2) Use the following net settings instead of the ones you are currently using. I realize technically these settings shouldn't help, but for some reason I recall it did.

cl_interp_ratio 1

getting a new hard drive

I've used a 1tb internal and 1tb external setup for awhile now and I have to say I'd much rather have 2 internals. The only reason I bought the external drive was when I was traveling back and forth between college and my home town. If you're not planning on traveling I'd say just go with 2 internals as it is a cleaner setup.
