you can't just try to interpret 'no interest' without considering the context of the situation
No I'm pretty sure you can, as in that case b4nny would've simply posted "due to financial concerns, we're unable to go to i61" as opposed to "a guy said he wasn't interested then the others lost interest as well". I'm pretty sure they do mean different things.
