in my experience, pyro can destroy a quick-fix uber if he gets close, but you need an axtinguisher, which means you can't have the powerjack
or do you mean reflects or flares or something
I think a good pyro could kill a medic with flames and reflected rockets if the combo gets caught by surprise. But if anything, that would probably work only once in a game.

I agree that the pyro would be fast at mid, which is a bonus, but it would also be utterly useless there in most cases once the enemy arrives. Mids are big and open and favor ranged classes or fast classes aka not pyros. If the pyro stands on mid alone, he will die to whatever comes at him and can do almost nothing about it. If he is there with his demo, he can try to support the demo by airblasting, but would probably be less effective than a scout or a soldier. And let's not forget that there is now the possibility of a quickfix medic being on mid the same time as the demo and then you have a demo and a pyro attacking a fix-buffed demo and medic with an entire team incoming that will also be completely buffed.
I wouldn't run full time pyro under thosecircumstances.

Great, I was wondering what the situation was like and if there were still donations going in.
By ending the drive, Lange, do you mean just that you stop doing fundraising streams/using the Imraising plugin and such or that the paypal itself will close temporarily? I guess the former, and when we have spare money and don't know what to do with it we can still donate?

flippersjust finished enders game, probably going to read catch 22 next, then probably something by terry pratchet, but after that im probably going to continue the ender series, does anyone have a clue on what book i should read next after enders game, ive heard varying opinions.
If you start with colours of magic as your first Pratchett book, you should read that and light fantastic in a row, they belong together.

the usual workflow for "montage" jobs usually goes a little like this:
1)find your song
2)lisint to this song until you hate it(so you know how the flow of it goes ect)
3)get all your clips compressed, and ready to import (no reason to break your editing workflow wit stupid things like compressing)
4)edit your stuff
5)send it to other people that has no clue of editing what so ever(as that is the closest to the actual consumer(you can always get a "prof" opinion on it after))
6) color grading
7) fix the music and sound effects levels
8) render
9) feel gooooooooood
also, record at max 120 fps(there is no reason to rape your hard drive with high fps files.. as you LITERALLY wont see a difference unless you slow down to around... 1-2 %

never said that, i said that you wont need more than 120 FPs unless you are slowing down to 1-2%
the standard fps for european video productions is 25 fps(the NA is 30)
so if you wanna slow down 50%
you still have over double of the frame rate that is going to be showed,
it should run smooth as hell at around 25%
thought that is pretty much the lowest you can go without dropping frames.
and i figured that i haven't seen anyone use anything that slow.
even thought you render an amazing video with a high fps, YouTube is still going to use their own compression codec wich runs at 25 fps, so the rest of the frames litterally goes to waste.
also, i dont know why you care, but i work at something called:
Mayday film.
i am currently an intern..
and i have been going to school with video editing for 3 years now.
But you said that it's ok unless you are at 1-2%. Which means that 3% are ok. Which is 2 fps.
