Just to clarify LazyPanda's post a bit:

ESEA's model has two payments: there is ESEA premium, a site-wide, monthly payment of around $7 that is made to be able to use "premium features", such as joining ESEA servers, posting in forums, and other things.

The second payment is a one-time entry fee to play in whatever division for whatever game you want, so you could pay $5 to play on an open team in TF2 and another $5 to play on an open team in CS:GO, but still just the one payment from above.

As a backup, typically players won't pay until they are needed. Most backups will pay the entry fee early on in the season to be ready at a moment's notice, but delay the premium fee so they aren't paying for months they don't play in.

tl;dr one time entry fee for the league, recurring payment to play on the servers.

Otaku fucked up and owned up to it. I 100% believe he had no ill intentions, considering how distraught he's been about the whole situation. Some people might see this as too little too late, but I think it's a pretty cool move on his part to just admit to it instead of running everybody around in circles.

And like I said, it's a weak excuse that he used wallhacks outside of any actual game, but I think he's telling the truth. Guess it's all up to the community whether or not to accept him; just remember that several other people have had VAC bans and still play/ed the game.
