randywaboOodcan someone fill me in on what rgl has done, i've been living under a rock, i heard they banned MAL for using the n-word in map reviews without a warning, what else did rgl do?
the problem is rgl is concerned with creating an online safe space rather than a competitive gaming league. they appoint weirdos to mod/admin that are not representative of the playerbase at all. the game is too small to be profitable, so therefore the game should belong to the community, not redditors (exa, sigafoo, makka, etc) that are trying to make the game "sponsor friendly".
this explanation is incredibly shortsighted. the problem isn't any individual admin, but the ruleset at large. blanket bans on slur usage and shit that actively punishes, for example, black ppl for saying the n word isn't going to go away if you switch the admins out, you'll just get another group of ppl doing the same thing. the actual problem is with how the rules are way too broad for no reason other than it means the moderation team doesn't have to actually moderate, just see bad word click ban.

i wont lock threads, but if one of ur posts gets deleted i will put u in the running for a simulated battle royale where you are pitted against all the other deleted posters of a given month. first to die gets a month ban, next few get 3 weeks, then two weeks, then one, second place gets a day, and the winner doesn't get banned.

i dont believe that most people that play this game are real.
team fortress 2 has an average supposed ingame playercount of around 50000 ppl at any one given time during a normal day. most of these people do not exist. out of that 50k playercount only 5000 are real players. the rest are bots. someone is training an ai to play the game.
fenomeno. mxr. elijah. these players were not cheaters. they were the most sophisticated products of this ai trying to create the perfect tf2 player, each with a human handler to be their "face", as you will, in order to conceal the ai. the cheating scandal was a fabrication put on by the shadow programmers in RGL once people started to catch on that they were not human. sin karma may be another of these ais, but a much more refined version, one that learns much faster.
"but who?" you ask. "who would benefit from a near endless supply of cannon fodder pubbers and an elite cabal of players who can quickly rise to the top, pushing human opponents out except for those at the very top?"
isn't it obvious? who in this community pubstomps daily without tiring and yet still sits atop his competitive throne?
