morning_foxI don't understand how you can hangout with guys in a mumble, become friends with them for months, and then quickly leave at the sight of playing on a highlander team that plays at a possible slightly higher level just for the "prestige". If you're going to do this in hl, you're pretty much going to do this in 6s too. As for velocity, I played highlander with him and he's a very nice guy dedicated to improving and a decent scout, and melon rang for riceguys last season and was always pretty good too.
I could actually care less about my rep or the tf2community, but this just seems like a shitty thing to do for yourself and for your old team. I mean I would understand if you're playing dota or some game that there's actually money or reasoning for you to ditch your group of friends to have a chance to win the international or something but I just don't understand this lol.

Jarrett000Not quite sure you guys would be high open (maybe that's where the minus frags are coming from) but a solid open team nonetheless.
If they practice and take the season as serious as they do highlander then they could do pretty ok by the end of the season. Maybe mid as long as they pick up players that fit with the schedule they have (that is a very small window for scrims though...)

We are a bunch of good HL buddies looking to make 6s team for summer season of ESEA. However we are going to be taking the season seriously. We are looking to get better before the season starts so we have been scrimming quite a bit, we scrim non-hl days which are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30-10:00 pm EST.
We are currently looking for a roamer and a demo that can call out damage clearly and make good decision.
