ive had a pretty trivial private implementation of searching ppls elo on my website working but im kinda skeptical of putting it up publicly because i don't really think i want to introduce that incentive for ppl. i agree with some of the other ppl in this thread for sure, elo is really gay, ppl go insane over it. the mge server at the root of my domain @ port 27015 on oihguv (the best mge map) is noelo for a reason lol. just play for fun or to get good or to train certain muscles, you dont need to go grindset number go up mode on it.

also, thank you for complementing my servers and their performance! my work on hyper tuning srcds to work as well as possible with annoying linux kernel tweaks and manual thread wrangling was a small part of why i got such a fun sysops job, definitely learned a lot. they def aren't as moderated as i'd really like them to be but i think the automoderation / anticheat does better than all the other servers that existed at the time i put them up, around the time that [AS] died, RIP. but yeah anyway play spaceship or mgetf, tommy is also dope. It was during some LAN I believe, and birthday mode was enabled. There were the birthday beach balls in spawn, and a demo was rolling out, and shot a sticky at the ground right as a beach ball rolled underneath it, so it bounced right off, and he had to shoot another one.

Not true, windows srcds has small but noticeably better performance than on linux, which adds up when you're a big provider renting lots of servers (like NFO).

The reason I would assume twiikuu isn't supporting windows for tf2 comp fixes is because the reverse engineering involved is a pain in the ass, and the signatures also keep getting broken when TF2 updates (actually, specifically when the byte signatures of particular functions get changed, aka when the code in the function itself gets touched at all) - so its just not worth it to maintain windows compat for the few amt of people who actually use windows servers - but also that breaks for people on some NFO managed servers, which use windows, for the reason I talked about above, performance

It is worth it to say that the part of the plugin that handles specifically projectiles colliding with teammates only seems to depend on only one offset - CBaseProjectile::CanCollideWithTeammates - which is not particularly difficult to find - https://asherkin.github.io/vtable/ -> server -> CBaseProjectile::CanCollideWithTeammates -> CBaseProjectile -

Most SourceMod plugins will be fine, with the exception of plugins that are using Address and integer offsets, due to the way that SM handles addresses (including StAC, oopsie!), but it should be fixable (involving a slight rewrite) with this PR. All *extensions* will need recompiled for x64, but the big ones (Accelerator crash reporting, SteamWorks, etc) are already being handled by some folks. DHooks, which is what some plugins use for function detouring support, does not currently support x64. Hopefully that is remedied, or plugins like TF2 comp fixes will stop working unless they are turned into an extension, which is a slight pain in the ass.
