beckybecktacularAre you running the Australian team? If not then it's still up to speculation, funny how we haven't heard from any of the people running the so called "charity" yet on this

The TF2 community has been had

you were right to create an alt for this post, because it's completely idiotic

my point still stands. the american scene still has less teams overall but is able to play/compete at a higher level - at least at the time of i46

wafflebyou're forgetting ugc

from what I understand UGC 6's is just pubbers so i'm not sure why that would factor into the equation at all

wafflebregardless I think the amount of teams competing at an IM+ or Div2+ level is about the same in both NA and EU and that figure is definitely higher than AU

what exactly are you basing this on? regardless, average skill level is not an indication of top teams - they're the best for a reason

wafflebnigga why bother arguing surely you're confident enough to just go and win it and blow off my opinions

i'm confident that whatever team goes over will do well.

waffleblike seriously get mad all you want but you guys have a small fraction of the playerbase compared to NA or EU and while there might be a few standout players, ie powah from the south american scene the best teams just aren't going to be as good

the hilarious thing about your argument is that you don't even take into account the fact that europe has more than 3x the amount of teams than ESEA -

etf2l season 14 - 328 teams (http://etf2l.org/etf2l/archives/170/1/)
esea season 13 - 89 teams (http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=league&d=standings&division_id=2023, cbf pasting all links, see other divisions)

using your reasoning, there's no way that such a smaller scene (US) could compete with european teams. The teams just aren't as good

thats what happened at i46 right
