#29 what's your favorite pub server? in TF2 General Discussion

Multiplay (UK)'s dm_superstore server, a hybrid between DM and your regular pub (85.236.100.104:27515). Has some nice regulars and the occasional prem player playing on it

#108 TFTV i49 LAN Fundraiser in News

Another month has almost passed. Seeing that even just a minute or two of your time for a quick weapon signing is apparently too much to ask for in return for a free trip to Europe, I don't think I'll ever donate to a team fundraiser again.

No need to add me anymore, I'm tired of this shit.

#117 America in Off Topic

I got to know lots of Americans online which is why I now know that you guys aren't as stupid as often portrayed here in Europe. That said, I still can't see me living in the US, mostly because I care about our (I'm German) welfare state and wouldn't give up universal health care. Most European countries have problems too: our governments are corrupt, multi national corporations are exploiting tax loopholes and most of our media is bought - but the US is just on a whole other level on all of that, sorry.

Still love you guys individually though!

#22 unoriginal huey lewis in TF2 General Discussion

I find it more annoying that Youtube seemingly decided not to show me that video in my subscription stream even though I am subscribed to Hueys channel.

Edit: Apparently it's a Youtube bug: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/L1MXos8ejpo

Damn I read that as i49. Great job though!

That was well worth the watch and $5. Very professional production, I think it was the right decision to do it well instead of releasing early.

Everyone should though.

I'm here to follow the comp scene. Doesn't necessarily mean I have to play though

#11 Facecam with laptop? in Hardware
GeknaiirsimfooYou could do the following (I have not tried it nor do I know anything about the details):

-Install VLC on the laptop
-Let it stream your laptop webcam via RTP inside your local network (yes, VLC can stream videos, either from files or cameras)
-Install VLC on your desktop
-Let it receive said laptop stream from your LAN
-Setup OBS to capture the desktop VLC instance

It should work, I have no idea what the quality and delay will be though

Worth a try, VLC is free after all...

EDIT: I have a laptop with a camera, maybe I'll try to set it up later
Personally, I would rather get a webcam. I don't think the delay is worth it since it just looks really weird on stream. But thanks for the help. If I'm ever desperate, I'll probably use both yours and Reilly's methods.

Even easier: Use Yawcam. I just tested it and it works just fine. You can access the stream via your browser and the delay is tolerable (you're in a local network after all).

But I agree, you can get a good webcam for 20 bucks...
