the g pro is pretty silent in my experience, good keyboard too if you don't mind losing the numpad.

i feel like surfing can get away with it because mechanically maps are usually very similar; you can make beautiful maps and then just slap ramps around them. Jumping on the other hand usually requires you to use walls/floors/platforms, so making that look appealing is a bit tougher. Not to mention skyboxes and bright lighting is usually shunned because it makes judging your speed difficult, which makes things like airpogo more difficult. That doesn't mean there aren't beautiful jump maps though.
