So, I just want to the community to know how TF2Center admins feel toward their loyal playerbase. Recently I have started to play on faceit.com and I have been enjoying my time there so I ended up signing up for a premium membership. I also support other avenues as well including TF2Center and have been a part of the community since the beta. I've even donated to TF2Center as well albeit only five dollars, but I have given money to a service that I didnt have any obligation to, but I did because Ive enjoyed my time there. I even was paying for a server just so I could host games on their site to help re-populate the website.
Recently, they even told people to put #tf2center in their name to advertise their site which I did as well. Well, in supporting them, I will also support other potential ventures like faceit.com. I've been playing there a lot lately so I put faceit.com in my name which I have seen some other players do as well. Well now TF2Center wants to ban me because I am advertising other sites. I guess TF2Center is afraid of competition?
How about you support what other companies are doing to try to grow the community. Why should TF2Center be the only site the community should care about? TF2Center did not lose players over time because of these other services. You lost players because of the way you treat the community and especially the people who have supported you since the beginning. If this is not a message to the community to boycott your site, I dont know what else would change peoples minds at this point. I'm not removing faceit.com from my name and you just lost my respect.
