4812622people who value fun over winning don't play competitive, and they certainly don't play medic, aka the least entertaining class in tf2
i think the solemn vow vs ubersaw argument is very similar to the qf vs medigun argument - one is high risk high reward, the other is either low risk high reward or no risk medium reward, and the solemn vow / qf remove aspects of competitive play (comms and positioning) that take skill and are important
so please please ban them

I'd also ban xBow, but that's pretty controversial. I personally think that it makes uber be built to quickly which causes stalemates and rewards bad positioning as you can easily get 100+ health from super long range.
The entire point of tf2 is to play for fun while showing the most skill possible. I've kept the weapons nobody uses while getting rid of the crutches that are any degree of aids to play against.
With the current whitelist, we're keeping things that are annoying just because some people in the invite illuminati said that it's better to unban as many weapons as possible for the sake of it.
You say you want to show the most skill possible but you want to ban the xbow? Not enough teams do arrow building to make it a worthy ban and if you know a team is arrow building it's not that hard to abuse/pressure them.

The solemn vow unban isn't really that bad. In higher divs people will use the ubersaw because it's better considering they should be able to track uber and listen to comms to know people's hp. However a good nerf to the Solemn Vow would be to make it so you can only see the players info when having the weapon out.
