lynawhy would you need a mouse that goes to 4000 dpi?????????
I like having a high sensitivity in windows and the easiest way to do that is with a high DPI
I switch from 5700 DPI on desktop (max that my mouse will go to) to 2400 when playing games and then I work with the ingame sensitivity settings to get a desired sens.

Check out the Corsair M60 or M65 (I use the M60)
Only goes to 5700 DPI but it's a really solidly made mouse and comparable in size to the RAT. Might be a little heavy at first but it's not egregiously bad.

There are times where I absolutely love tf2. Hell, last night was one of them. The grind is just so much sometimes.

This seems a rather pessimist or even ridiculous way of seeing things. The community will eventually find a way when that happens, tf2 wont die overnight.
I'm just speaking about the people I know and play with, but most of us have more fun playing other games at this point and only play esea tf2 because it's what we've done for years. Obviously this isnt the case for everyone and if esea dropped tf2 some sort of NA league would spring up. A sizable portion of the community would probably leave, however. The magic has worn off of this game for a lot of people. It's still fun, but it's not fun enough to spend 3 hours a night a few times a week playing it.

Everywhere else on the forums where HL is brought up it's almost always mocked.
People in this thread complaining about the "elitist" attitudes of csgo players, I compared it to the attitudes of 6s players towards HL players.
Literally not true the only 6s player I know who openly mocks HL is cloudmaker and his opinion is worth less than nothing
