mastercomsWhere did you read this? -high is not going to make TF2 have higher priority than OS level tasks like input. I actually get more responsiveness and very slightly better FPS on my i7-870, but I won't say that it's good for every CPU.
I also felt the same kind of effect when I first used it. It was on a site called cfg.tf, but I really don't know what that's worth. ( https://imgur.com/a/g0FI1 )
I've read that setting the -high launch option can potentially introduce input lag ... Have you tested that and if so, could you confirm that it's just fine to have it in there ?

Dunno if it's placebo but when I set net_queued_packet_thread to 1 I had some weird hit reg. Now that I have net_queued_packet_thread 0 it seems to be fine although I havent tryed experimenting with the said launch option.

It has no height adjustment but unless that really matters to you I think it's a pretty good deal.
