because I don't think sen or botmode are quite as good as the scouts I listed?

botmode was on my list for pocket, not scout, and while I think he was probably the best pocket in IM scouts just completely dominate the game so it's really hard to carry as hard (see also: why all the demos and roamers are so low on my list)

you literally just said you didn't take teamwork into account for individual player rankings at all

and your rankings are so terrible (and your reasoning behind said rankings so contradictory and nonsensical) that it's impossible to think you DIDN'T haphazardly throw them together

teamwork doesn't just come from teams playing together for a long time, it comes from some players who are more predisposed to working off their teammates, or frankly are just smarter or more dedicated to begin with

therefore it has to be factored into individual rankings for them to be accurate

it's important to note that, despite the literal title of the game, people do not tend to factor in teamwork elements in these types of ranking, ESPECIALLY comms

I know that no ranking of me would be anywhere near as favorable as my ego would rank myself without any mention of main calling

things like that make an ENORMOUS difference if teams are willing to do more than just show up to scrims, kill things, and leave, without trying to actually improve the way they play

I mean xan's rankings might blow but I'm sure there are a lot of people who would agree that every single player on muffinz' team is better than every single player on ours at their respective classes, and yet we took 4 rounds off them despite being in the process of losing our demoman at the time

there has to be something positive there right???

it's basically impossible to rank regardless of class because you have to separate game impact from skill, otherwise you end up with all scouts at the top like I did rip in fact ignore this post it's impossible

if highfive were scout in IM he'd be the best by a mile

he was approaching top 5 in NA on scout when he cared

ask any player who has been on a team with KTB and they will tell you that, if your demo is assertive and calls, he ends up having to take ubers cuz KTB goes silent so much and goes aggressive at really weird times

if my mathemagics are as good as I think they are, the following team would be like top 3 if not the best in IM according to these rankings
