i didnt do it on purpose. i was dumb and forgot. it was just an honest mistake.

well personally, i like the fact that when miggy and i were talking via steam chat about tipsy teejay - he mentioned to me that the best way to understand how cheats work is to test lmaobox on an alt - and i told him yeah i do that - and he said oh cool then you know what im talking about (im paraphrasing of course idr the exact phrasing) and yet I get heat for doing the same thing he did

i understand what you're saying, and you make a valid point. it didnt strike me as something i should do, since what kind of back lash would i get if i, an actual nobody in the comp scene, announced publicly, to people i didnt know: "hey guys i bought lmaobox to test but dont worry im not using it on my main lol." who would even believe that?

i didnt need to, nor do i think now that i should have, posted it to tftv or to ugc because im not active in those arenas. im an adult with other things to do, and the only realm of tf2 that matters to me is my small community and playing with my friends. im shocked im even mentioned in this thread with people calling me out for being this uber cheater and its kind of silly, imo.

no one's denying that. im not even denying i "cheated." the point im trying to make is that it is unfair to call me a "pub hacker" since I am not one, nor have i ever used cheats on mauiihan.

i want to reiterate that its not like im the first community admin or ac team who has used cheats. the best defense against something is understanding how that thing works. i feel thats just common sense.

just because you or all of tftv didnt know, doesnt mean the information wasnt public. in my case - people that are relevant to me - like my community and friends - knew i tested cheats. i "publicly announced" it on my profile for people i didnt know (like you or tftv) to understand.

i really dont want to make a big appearance in this thread as i dont believe i am relevant, but ill just finish up what we're talking about by saying : my alt account was the first steam account i ever made. it was not soley an experimental alt. i used the account for mvm, for playing incognito in my own servers or with friends, i even used it to mess with pwner/yight back in the day. i never said i used it exclusively to test hacks on. that's an assumption made by others. it was a mistake/overlook on my part that has now tainted my name.

edit: just want to clarify, im saying i used the account for other things, not the script.

as im not active in the comp community and am simply a lurker on these forums when the occasion calls for it, yes i did make an account today. I think its fair for me to defend myself when someone i don't know shares my story and calls me a liar. sorry if that upset you. honestly there are more famous/important and higher up hackers to talk about than my accidental VAC.

my alt account was older than my main account. ive had the same phone number since i was 13. didn't even realize that account was still connected to my phone number. meh - i know im not a hacker, as does everyone i play with.
