Monitor goes funky when watching videos

Make sure that the monitor plug is perfectly in.
Try to test the monitor with another computer to see if that's a computer problem or a monitor problem.
And, as usual, verify if your drivers are updated.

KirkmWhen I use the installer, it crashes right as the bar nears the end. All of the files are still downloaded, and my crosshairs from the installer are implemented correctly, but my colors for everything else, as well as the options on the first page are set to the default options and not the ones I selected. Any idea what could cause this and how to fix this issue?

EDIT: The option on the installer for minimode appears to be working, but no change to the rest.
Open up Event Viewer, use the rayshud installer, copy the crash log and send it to rays or to Tree so they can see what's wrong and fix it asap

Bucakemaybe the classic cloud bug where your old (steam cloud-stored) config gets downloaded after your autoexec gets loaded..
if you have steam cloud enabled, you might want to consider disabling it.
if this isn't the issue, then i don't know, sorry
Steam cloud in the tf2 propreties and in-game are disabled.
