#16 rahThread: Faceit 6v6 comp queue in TF2 General Discussion

the last attempt failed because
1. prioritizing paid premium players as captains, which were virtually never actual tf2 players so they just picked randomly
2. having no class selection, so last person in the server got forced on medic (or the team just didn't have one)

#32 RGL Ringer Fees in TF2 General Discussion
sunderkeeninand we have cheaters taking even longer to get banned than in esea because there is no anticheat

FYI no player in TF2 has ever been detected/banned by the ESEA client anticheat

#22 are steroids worth it ? in Off Topic
aboOod just know that maintaining that physique is going to be harder than obtaining it.

no it's the opposite actually

TF_D4nnylebron james also definitely uses roids, look at that man. Still, there are plenty of examples where ppl who used gear ended up getting wrecked later in life.

100% of people who depend on their bodies to make a living are on steroids (models, athletes, instagram whores, youtube fitness scammers, certain types of actors etc)

#8 Ten questions for improving at 6s in TF2 General Discussion

1. becoming comfortable in the roles of the other classes helps you on your main as well
2. they don't get autistically caught up in their favorite playstyles and pushes and instead focus on the gaps/mistakes in your team's gameplay that are losing you rounds
3. discrepancy in the amount of time spent practicing
4. yes if you are friends
5. Do whatever you can stand to do long enough to practice, don't torture yourself
6. positioning and speed (to push/sack/fall back etc) - by main level you should be near fully comfortable with the raw mechanics of your class
7. I compare my dpm to damage taken, look at # of deaths, and look at the heal spread to make sure I'm spending the appropriate amount of time near the medic (class dependent)
8. keep in mind what the rest of your team is and isn't aware of, don't need to yap about a player in front of 4 of you but you DO need to call out unseen bomber, backcap attempt, damage that can be followed up on, etc

Bonus:
9. yes, in every element of life not just games
10. it's the one that I am the most comfortable/automatic on mechanics so I can focus on teamplay

pyurpurrotMakloot-arrows and scout move speed make poor positioning / damage advantage harder to capitalize on
troglodyte take

tbf people were 100% sure about the scout thing (within the last year) before it was actually hashed out in a little gameplay
https://www.teamfortress.tv/55649/med-speed-buff-removal-eu-dmixes/

most people in that thread agree with me + what do you mean "hashed out," we literally played like that for like 7 years before the buff was added

anyway you missed half my post, the number of absolute dogshit soldiers in the game now that get caught out 20 times a match just to get arrowed is astounding

tougeFS That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there's more.

SpaceCadetIt also didn't help that no valid CTF maps were created for match / league play in the beginning of TF2.

the problem isn't the maps, it's that TF2 CTF is unplayable due to not being able to return flags

#11 Massive FPS Drops in Q/A Help

Hardware throttling maybe? Check the temps on your CPU and GPU when you play. Check your windows "power saving" settings to make sure it's on active and not passive cooling. Check if you changed something in your fan curves in BIOS.

Either that or you have a virus or bitcoin miner IMO. Or some bloatware running on startup (a game anticheat or similar)
