#2 LF KOTH Maincalling advice in TF2 General Discussion

1.) exchanging is normally the play here because it takes less time than 4 maning over and over again to get the force and has a higher success rate. exchange and try to push them back with ur uber so u have better positioning in the post, any player exchanges during or after the uber are good for ur team because u have faster spawners. make sure all of ur players are healthy before u do it and ur flank might wana do something behind the uber as well.

2.) you probably shouldnt run sniper when you do not have the point because the other team can just play the angles so ur sniper doesnt matter. when u do have the point, especially on a map like product, sniper is very powerful if he hits his shots because he can deny literally the entire map. on maps like clearcut and bagel i do not think sniper is very viable.

3.) when u are pushing the point on clearcut and the enemy soldier jumps behind you i would say that the right play is to turn around and kill him because his respawn timer is like 12 seconds or something when his team has the point.

4.) demo watches left, soldiers watch the 2 left doors med plays in the saw room scouts do whatever. there is no real forward hold that is as good as it is on product or even bagel, but its more like a forward pressure. especially if u have full ad u can kinda catch them off guard with an uber if they just take yard thinking nothing will happen.

good luck

dbkDon’t: Report a scrim or match because you thought something was suspicious without evidenceisnt the entire point of reporting something suspicious so that the people who actually know what theyre doing (AC team) can find the evidence?

they don’t know what they’re doing

#66 RGL's reach outside of official matches in TF2 General Discussion

RGL is being run by people who do not know what they are doing. They claim that they have “strict sandbagging rules,” but the same players that are historically known for sandbagging in esea are still allowed to play in divs lower than what they can play in. If a group of players are threatening to not play invite and only play advanced / div 1 they just submit and say okay but u can only play these classes XD! Because of that, there are only 6 invite teams when there could have been a potential of eight, even nine if the Scratchh players were not all banned as well. Not only are people being allowed to sandbag, the people who rightfully should be allowed to play their mains in div 1 are not allowed to do so. So people are allowed to sandbag but div one players can’t even play their mains in div one lol.

Along with this, their policies on bans are ridiculous. People who say slurs should be the ones who get punished, not every player in the server with them or the “organizer” of the scrim/pug. If you ban someone from your tf2 league cuz they said a mean word in a steam chat, you are power hungry. Most people who get banned don’t even know what they got banned for.

Another thing to note is that there are players who are being accused of cheating in the division right below invite. What does RGL do about this? They claim that they are reviewing evidence but with no clarification. Are they cheating? Are they not? On top of this the same players who have these accusations against them refused to upload their pov demos. What does RGL do about this? They give them a warning. Is this not suspicious at all? For people who are all about the spirit of competition it sure is weird that these accused cheaters are still being allowed to play without any clarification from any admins about the situation.

This is what needs to happen in order for RGL to be successful. The last thing the community should do is boycott RGL. It is a fact that RGL is bringing in more and more people into the competitive TF2 community. This is shown by the numerous teams in the newcomer and amateur divisions. However, the way that the higher levels of play is being run is simply inadequate. RGL needs to be less transparent about their rules and the admins need to be more vocal with the community about bans and other situations. The rules need to be toned down a few notches and only be applied when two RGL teams are playing against each other. The sandbagging rules need to be reworked so that there will never be another season with less than eight teams of invite. Everyone in the invite/top advanced bubble knows that there could have been eight or nine teams this season. RGL let there be six teams. If these changes mean new, better admins so be it.

i can review just you as a player (medic any div all others up to high div 1) or your team in general.

i would like to stream this on twitch, but if you are uncomfortable with other people watching your demos live then i can either record it and put it on youtube (unlisted) or privately stream it to you on discord if you wish.

#6 RGL Invite S4 Happenings/Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

its just a double standard
my team got warned for not using our appropriate verified aliases in a match (http://logs.tf/2697437#76561198136156676) which is fair by itself i guess, but the same admin that told us to only use our real aliases in matches verifies his friend with the name Krispy Kreme like anybody calls shiny that. if its gonna be like that verify me as hi and pissy as the cowboy hat emoji
