If you unpackage the .rar, doesnt matter if you click them. unpackaging the .rar could do it. I unpackaged the rar but I never clicked the files and it still happened to me. also that Video link, you got gilburt, doesnt hurt you until you "update java/adobe"
so ya just malwarebytes and then change passwords. Im still waiting to hear from steam support.

yeah i reported it to steam, and i hope i get my stuff and my account back. made an alt meanwhile. and i do want my items its just if they are lost forever i wont die over it. its just a bitch re-adding people.

Good point. Now that you mention teamviewer, I remember it being open randomly on the side of my computer one day. I closed it and didn't think much of it. Oh well. I don't care about items that much so its not a huge deal to make a new steam account.

I don't even know how I got hacked. I didn't click any links or anything. Just randomly logged me out, and then the steam contact email was changed and so was the password. Just don't click anything that account sends you. I contacted steam support and am making a new steam account right now.
