Hooey is good at trumpet and also soldier. He's pretty freaking weird, but definitely in a good way. Love this guy, pick him up.

DanceNumberdo you have a set of rules in place for players on the site?
Yes. We've formulated what we think to be an extremely sensible list of rules. We've figured these rules out almost entirely over the past few months, and we're actually going to confirm them in an admin meeting this Saturday.
DanceNumberAlso how will these rules be enforced?
- We have what is essentially a chart that we plan to follow in most situations with a list of offences and number of times the user has committed the offence that leads to a certain number of days/weeks/months ban.
- Mods follow this grid and dole out bans from one hour up to a month, admins can ban up to three months, and anything higher will be confirmed by a committee of admins that meets weekly.
- There are !admin commands in all chats that can notify mods/admins of any issues occurring in real time.
- There will be a form for users to report things like trolling, griefing, etc. It can also be able to appeal bans.
DanceNumberWill people be free to spam chat or play troll classes in game, or is there an action plan to mitigate these things?
Being intentionally useless to your team or harassing other users will put you at threat of being banned. Users can report you to any mods/ admins that are online with the "!admin" command instantly or report it afterwards in a form.
DanceNumberDo you embrace the "it's just a lobby" mentality or do you want this to be more serious?
On a personal note, I think matchmaking will be a great outlet for people that just want to goof off in a 6v6-ish format. I think "serious" is a pretty strong word, but I think that users should go into lobbies planning to try their best. Hopefully I answered your questions decently.
BisquitWhen is this going public?
No set date, but we are rapidly approaching an open beta. We'll post as soon as we have a date set, though.
We're getting there. Not much to talk about, just adding the last few outstanding features, fixing bugs, and polishing things up for the public beta. We've been adding people to the alpha that signed up in the steam group. Sign up there if you want a chance of getting in early.
matchuor beat someone up until they do it for you
I'm not particularly strong.
NUTSjust upload the mumble recordings
I guess this is an option. Will look into it, I suppose.
Hi. Essentially, there were a few major miscommunications that led to the VODs being lost. We actually uploaded some already (of classes that got streamed by the teacher) but they were taken down/ region locked due to music that was playing (this is from the process I started a couple weeks ago with post 189).
We have mumble recordings for every class, but the video has to be made essentially from scratch. There were some people who were interested in helping me with this process, but events came up where they were no longer able to, so it essentially boils down to me having to do it when I get a chance, but school is a thing + the majority of my time is being put into TF2Stadium / scrims right now.
T00tsThe tragic ones look pretty good.
Tragicservers is fantastic for NA. Helpful support, decent prices (especially if you use a promo code), and it pumps resources back into the community. Idk about eu though (judging off your flag).
Elepimpwtf is going on
people realized they were being idiots so they started posting bad memes while laughing in a mumble somewhere, presumably while calling the reasonable people idiots.
typical saturday night. god bless tftv mods
conradzioNo libertarians here?... younger Paul anyone? I know he dropped out but still...
The question was "bernie or hillary" and your answer was someone not mentioned... that is in another political party... that has dropped out of the race

Thundersn0wHey, I'm in open currently, is it ok if I play newbie mixes on an offclass so I can get a feel for how the class works?
No. Newbie mixes is about learning the format, not a class. Sorry!
Dr.Shdwpuppet's post is pretty much spot on.
We need coaches tonight! Pls come coach.
The super-heal stats are from arrow building. I take a decent amount of heals, but I don't even think 5k heals in a half that slow would be possible without it being intentional. Good solo cast, though.
- Sleeping on a floor doesn't work. I'm a person who can usually sleep on anything (tile, hard wood, anything) and be perfectly fine. But you gotta remember you'll usually get ~5 hours of sleep a night, and you need to make the absolute most out of it or you will be miserable.
- Connect with people beforehand so you know for sure you'll have a group to hang out with. It's creepy when people just sort of follow groups around, and the people that do it are often oblivious. THAT SAID, there are lots of people that are more than happy to bring people to restaurants/ the store/ etc with them if the person isn't terrifying.
- Shower. Please.
- Don't drink alcohol or do drugs if you aren't used to it. I honestly could not care less if people do whatever the heck they want with their bodies at lan, but it's 2nd-hand-embarassing and people will see right through you.
- Don't rely on credit/ debit cards if the LAN you go to is far away. Always have some cash, because banks tend to freak out if you don't travel regularly.
- It doesn't matter if you're good at the games, as long as you aren't throwing.
I don't know about any summer lans, but the GXL and FITES are the two standard east coast lans. FLAN is also pretty fun from what I've heard.
