also why would ANYONE travel to play online.

lan is worth it because of many reasons

-team hangout
-friends
-playing environment
-good ping
-insane pcs
-more stuff that i wouldn't know because i'm not an invite gamer

the combination of all of those things is what makes the travel worth it, not JUST the ping

i'm actually upset that you got a list that long and didnt include lange or fragile

shitpost or not

i love na lans as much as the next guy, but personally i would NOT give up an international i55 to have a first-time lan here in na.

Okay, gamers! We have 10 teams signed up. I'll be adding all the leaders (people who posted in this thread) to send more specific information. I will have a resource pack to put on your servers (maps, cfg, whitelists, etc). More detailed rules coming soon.

You can edit your roster until saturday at 11:59pm est.

hypee! :)

Good to see the support continuing as well as they can given the situation. Here's hoping the majority of top players stick around. :)

I'm pretty sure...

net_graph 1 is fairly often average

scoreboard is average over time, with spikes slowly disappearing as time goes by

ping in console is ping at that particular tick

nothing too complex.

Dispute processing now. It's odd because I downloaded the original, unaltered version of youtube. The people that actually broke copyright law have theirs up and mine is taken down, oh youtube.

I LOVE YOU VALVE

please don't link your reddit posts directly. upvoting a directly linked reddit post does nothing, and is technically against the rules

if you're expecting hype from the esea announcement, you're probably in for a let down. currently looks like at least lan will be gone for this season. potential changes after that, too.

yeah if you play competitive tf2 and you aren't watching fully charged this weekend you're crazy

side note, newbie mixes will be delayed until after fully charged it over, assuming it goes an hour or longer.

I think that will be the case too, but time and time again ESEA has shown itself to be the #1 option for tf2 in NA. If a lan is a viable, long-term option, ESEA will make it happen again. Please, let's not split up open+ again, we're only just now recovering numbers-wise.

that's not how it works. anyone who upvotes that link is actually pushing the post down. you have to actually find the post on the thing and upvote it WITHOUT clicking a direct link to it.

there's a difference between positive and disillusion.
