#35 What is the game that requires the most skill? in Other Games
mmrarkteVulcanYou can determine how hard a game is by calculating the average hours of top players. And how many hours are need to be considered "pro". Average quake hours 15,000+, average tf2 hours 8000, average csgo hours 5000. In that regard I would definitely consider quake the hardest game.

Some of the smarter people may have also seen a pattern in the way they are arranged, it seems the harder the game the less of a competitive scene it has. I think this is because harder games are more confusing and the average audience won't be able to keep up, leading to the esport not being as popular
way to pull completely random numbers out of your ass

They arent random, you can literally do it yourself and get the same numbers, keep in mind its not 100% accurate because steam has only recorded hours since 2009

Is there a way to see through steam or some website what the average hours for that game is, like including casual players?

#8 doubleclick OS issue? in Hardware
flatlineit was definitely mechanical, i did the hotfix of unplugging and then clicking it a bunch of times

also i'm not installing windows 10 lol, and reinstalling once every month is insane

Lol didnt mean to say win 10 edited it. And reinstalling once a month is to make sure nothing breaks, you could probably get away with more than that if you treat your computer right. Even if the problem isnt with your computer i defintely reccomend reinstalling your OS, only good can come out of it

#5 doubleclick OS issue? in Hardware
flatlineVulcanDefinitely update your drivers, when was the last time you reinstalled your OS?Around a year ago? I'm not especially a fan of it.
I haven't updated my OS in a bit though, i'll also try that

Also, I don't think the g500 has new drivers released anymore

I'm on windows 8.1 btw

the thing is i'm not sure about the reliability of this page because it reports doubleclicks on my zowie which hasn't doubleclicked anywhere else. testing the g500 on another comp now

i should probably just get used to the zowie cause g500s cost a million dollars now and i'm way too used to the accel and 1100 dpi that i had on it

Make a backup of your important files on google drive, then make a windows 8.1 USB. Then let it update. If you need more information on this I can provide you a link, reinstalling your OS at least once a month is crucial to keeping your computer in "shape"

It's all preference. I personally use the skull cutter, but I know a lot of demo men who alternate between pain train and stock depending on map

I don't know anyone who will complain when you use shotgun...unless you're being annoying with it like shotgun denying, and using it as a crutch. If you aren't going for air shots and instead shot gun denying people will get annoyed.

He's right handed, and he's used to the EC. And the dm 1 pro S is closer to the EC than the g pro is.

RentQNVulcanRentQNVulcanRentQNThere's really not enough of a difference between the 3360 and the 3310 to warrant buying a new mouse if the old one still works for you and you like the shape.
If you really want a 3360 mouse tho, I definitely recommend the Logitech G Pro.
G pro has a worse shape than the g403 and the g403 wireless is even better. The 3360 spins out way less but spinning out the 3310 is incredibly hard, so yes you don't need to upgrade just for the sensor

Shape is purely subjective. Honestly, it's pretty ignorant to flat out say one shape is better than the other.
I personally prefer the G Pro, because I like ambidextrous mice and because it's smaller.
It's also lighter, which is a pretty big deal to me.
So I personally prefer the G Pro in every way.

Obviously he might have different preferences, but since he's asking about the DM1 Pro, which is also a ambidextrous and relatively light and small mouse (like the G Pro) and is looking to get away from his EC1-A (ergonomic shape, bigger and heavier, like the G403), it made sense to recommend the G Pro and not the G403.

It's not ignorant to say one mouse has in GENERAL a safer shape than something else
And he said he wants a new mouse because he wants to up his game and he wants a mouse similar to the EC but with the 3360. And the g403 is more popular among EC users than the g pro

Alright so that's a pretty stupid example. If you're saying "saver shape" than ambidextrous is definitely "saver". And so is a smaller and lighter mouse.
Maybe you could say "better" or "saver" if you compare a shape that is completely out there and super far away from the norm with a really generic shape. But that's definitely not the case with the G Pro and G403. They both have pretty standard shapes.

Also, he didn't exactly say he want's a mouse similar to the EC, he said the DM1 Pro is similar to the EC, which I'm not really sure what he's talking about there. But since I'm pretty sure he realizes that they are not very similar in shape, I just assumed he meant, build quality, no gimmicks, just the essentials etc.

The point of the example is that there are exceptions to everything, and there is bound to be at least one person who finds the first shape more comfortable, but in general most people will like the latter. I have no idea where you got the idea that ambidextrous mice are generally better than others, but I can tell you that it's simply not true.

And he specifically said if he should get the dm1 pro S BECAUSE the shape is similar to the EC.

That's a snub nosed revolver, -snip- really fucking sleepy had no idea what I was saying

ZestyThere's a shield that the Splendid Screen was definitely based off of in the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford along with a few other weapons that deffo remind me of stuff ingame on the top floor (I think there's some revolvers that the spy ones are based off of). Don't have any pictures though.

The tide turned definitely reminds me of the pirate spinning wheel xd
