So I have a BenQ 2420Z, and a NVIDIA GeForce 770 graphics card.

Currently, I have a dual link DVI from the graphics card to my monitor with 1920x1080 @144hz.

My monitor has an audio in/out port, but since I have a DVI hooking it up, there is no audio transfer. I know that HDMI does sound as well, but I have heard that some very ranged statistics about what refresh rate and resolution HDMI supports. I am pretty sure that with newer HDMI this isn't a problem, but I am just seeking clarification.

Can I play at my current display settings and have audio in/out with an HDMI, or is there a different way to get sound through this particular monitor?

yeah, I would put it on monitor ghosting. Some monitors have some options you can fiddle with to change that.

I mean, I feel like this is probably a pretty weird thing to question, but during matches my dpm is usually from 225 to 275, and I feel like that is a little bit low for a roamer, although I am usually not dying too much and I tend to get plenty of frags. I feel like this might reflect my play style some. I usually just hold the flank during holds and I don't really go for picks unless we are at a disadvantage or unless I see a clear opportunity. I was wondering if I should play more aggressively and try to initiate more fights for my team,and bomb in for picks more often, or if my current strategy about holding flanks and then flanking the uber to clean up frags is a valid one. What sort of situations might there be when each one should be used?

Thank you in advance, I would just like to get an essential part of my game solidified before I become too comfortable with a potentially bad play style.

I started out as a pyro because it was easy, then I discovered how the degreaser worked and it was actually fun too. After a season of highlander I became aware of the 6s scene and immediately picked up soldier because I loved to rocket jump. Then I actually got good and stated enjoying airshots and the fast jumpy playstyle, and it has stuck with me for 4 seasons.

I like playing demo and sniper in pubs, and I still like to play pyro in highlander when I get the chance.

When I talk to people on either mumble or skype, it sometimes picks up sound playing through my sound card, such as in-game sound or music I'm playing in the background, which is weird, because I wear headphones. Is there some setting I accidentally changed to have it pick up system audio or is this some problem with them as programs?
