#14 Chemistry anyone? in Off Topic

I graduated with my bachelors in Chemistry and currently work as an analytical chemist for a bio-chem manufacturing company. Probably not what I thought would happen after I graduated...I had wanted to go into research or some fancy R&D dept but most of the jobs (at least around here in the Northeast US) lie within the analytical chemistry realm. Which is kind of funny because it was my least favorite sub discipline (I enjoyed organic and inorganic the most). I loved my orgo and inorganic labs. My professors were pretty awesome and the labs themselves were challenging yet rewarding. I kept all the material/reserach in the hopes that I can (maybe) return to school for my masters. And actually the company I work for now has a tuition reimbursement program so that may be a possibility soon.

In any case.... TLDR - Chemistry is awesome.

malaI would definitely go to this one. And I'd bring 10x more cookies because I won't have to fly there!

I'll arrive a week early in preparation so we can try new recipes and such. And you can make me homemade pizza THAT I CAN ACTUALLY EAT. :P

They've posted the grand jury transcripts along with a lot of other evidence (pictures/reports) and I highly suggest you guys read it/go through it. Remember, any biased media/news entity (and they are ALL biased) can pick and choose testimony/evidence that supports their views.

It makes me cringe seeing all the false statements/opinions being stated as facts...c'mon guys. This wasn't r/circlejerk last time I checked.

You can't go wrong with composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Vivaldi. There are lots of classical playlists on spotify :)

BUICKGerman and Korean.

I do ESL tutoring for visiting SK professors children. Given, the parents are very strict about no Korean spoken during out lessons, but I always find time for the little ones to teach me things. :D

우와! 한국어를 배우는 것은 재미있는데 진짜진짜 어렵다고 생각해요~
I taught English in Korea for a year and it was great! Korean children are so diligent (for the most part).

negasoraEnglish and Spanish, studying Hebrew

I've been interested in learning Hebrew. It's such an old language! And I have a few good Jewish friends that could help me out :)

#1 Anyone here bilingual/multilingual? in Off Topic

As someone who loves learning and studying different languages, I was just wondering how many of you are bi/multilingual!

If you are, what language(s) do you know?
Did you learn in school/college? Or did you grow up with it in your household?
