turtsmcgurtsi used to use a VPS with a high download (cheap ones come with 100mb), download the torrent with that and upload it to mediafire or download straight through FTP or something.
could also use the VPS for other things, such as a mumble/minecraft server.
This is a pretty nice way to do things, sadly it costs some money. I've got a dedi running rtorrent, rutorrent and glftpd. I download the torrent, upload through rutorrent then just grab the files with ftp.
