if it's not, why is them being banned an issue?
if you think it shouldn't matter, RGL have made it clear that invite players are held to higher standards, and this is the 2nd offense. is it really that hard to not tell people to kill themselves, or at least apologise afterwards?

retake works partly because it doesn't require a full server. it's perfectly fine (and arguably more useful) to play 2v2, or 3v2 or whatever, and people can flex to whatever role they're given.
in tf2 this basically requires 10 people in a server to be useful, players on the important classes (including med (lol)), it's just never gonna work in practice unless it's a pickup system (in which case why not just play a pug)
