Having never watched an episode, should I start Game Of Thrones now that you guys are deeply disappointed with how the series ended? Can I start the show and stop watching it before the bad episodes start and be satisfied? If not, is it even worth it to watch the show all the way through now that we know how bad the last season is?

yttriumremoving your autoexec does not reset your settings, you have to run the game with the -default launch option
-default only sets your settings to default for THAT launch, and prevents you from changing them. its good for quickly trouble shooting
it doesn't reset your settings, remove your autoexec and custom folder and use -autconfig and host_writeconfig (in console) for that

im really split on daenerys' turn. there were always hints of her being unsound and i always thought it was unbelievable how she went from being a super quiet innocent girl to loving her rapist arranged husband to crucifying towns to burning innocents
i think they did justify it fine, but it all came during the last episode or so and was really rushed. bear in mind that she has 0 advisors she trusts, except maybe greyworm (and only in a military sense), and he hates cersei now too. she's had love and success in sandland but only distrust in what's basically a foreign land to her and her army.
i do genuinely think the actual act of burning innocents for an hour feels completely the opposite of her character at any other point in the series and i really hope she regrets it next episode

CyanicjnkiCyanici was actually watching the badlands i40 grand final stv demo(2010) a few months ago, and it still workedglitturei thought you guys were going to get the stv and recast the match with new casters and a new hud but it ended up being just a rerun of the i46 cast lol
stv demos from that time definitely wouldn't work properly nowadays
in fact, even completely new feature like match hud worked
the issue is working properly not working at all - viewmodel animations are probably screwed and modern plugins like castingessentials probably wouldn't work. then again i could be totally wrong and this could only apply to POVs
some features of castingessentials (e.g. damage numbers) rely on the STV+ server plugin to send extra events, those definitely won't work. most stuff should.
iirc banners on stvs caused crashes? not 100% if that's fixed, and I think the pre-JI branch is still available which might work
