Are people still upset with Casual Matchmaking? No abandon penalty, you can choose what map/gamemode you want to play, and theres no vmod fov lock in it, I just wish I could play more than 2-3 rounds of viaduct without having to spend 1-2 minutes searching for another game. If valve reduces queue times, allows players to play more rounds at a time, and somehow deals with the hackers, casual matchmaking would be perfect for me.

I really hope this will be the biggest and best display of competitive TF2 to date, and that the stream list and competitive matchmaking will expose newer players to the tournament.

I'm not sure if the dev team realise how dumb it is playing with 54 fov vmod. It's honestly baffling thst they legitimately think that having your weapon block half your screen is an appropriate playing level to force everyone on. Have they never watched a competitive stream or vid and realised "Hey, everyone plays with 70-90 vmod fovwhen they've got it on and it doesn't look too bad, maybe we should just limit it to 70 instead of force them to play at this shit level?"

IMO 70 is a good cap, original blatantly loads no rockets beyond ~75 and a magic hand appears beyond 90.

I dont want to have to restart tf2 to play scout after matchmaking, I should be allowed to change settings outside of MM

how come sometimes i win, nobody leaves but the match doesnt count towards anything at ALL, it doesnt increase games played/stats/EXP and it doesnt show up in my history
is the game i played like a ghost game that was simply in my imagination
like 4 of the games that i played today have not counted towards XP or stats and do not show in my history

i donated to some community server and then you could spam the fuck out of different voice commands like "guts and glory" for demoman and it sounded like "gatsan gloree" so I just changed my name permanently to "gatsan"
