http://www.teamfortress.tv/25328/comanglia-s-config-fps-guide here is a good fps guide(use if your getting low fps)(Basically copy and paste the config in your autoexec: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1439674, which you might need to make one,fyi playing on dx8 is about performance, so you wont see skins if you care about that)(also to bring up net graph to see your fps and actual ping is net_graph 1 and 0 to disable it)
